What this site collects about you
This page describes exactly what the site does, rather than reproducing boilerplate. The centre collects only what it needs to reply to you and to improve what it publishes. We do not sell, trade, or pass your data to anyone for advertising.

What is collected
| What | When | Why | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Usage statistics through Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, device and browser, approximate country and city, and the site you arrived from, together with cookies beginning with _ga | Only after you press “Accept” on the cookie notice | To see which content people actually read, so we can improve it | |
| Aggregate visitor counts, without cookies and without identifying individuals (Vercel Analytics) | On every page view | To know roughly how much the site is used | Vercel (this site's hosting provider) |
| Name · organisation · email · phone · type of work · your message, and a code recording which link in the site you came from | When you fill in and submit the contact form | To reply to you and discuss working together | Formspree, then forwarded to the centre's email |
| Email address | When you subscribe to the newsletter | To send you news and collaboration opportunities | Formspree |
| Your choice to accept or decline statistics cookies | When you press either button on the cookie notice | To remember it and not ask again on every page | Stored in your own browser only, never sent anywhere |
This site has no accounts, no login, and collects no sensitive data such as religion, health, or biometric information.
Cookies
This site uses cookies only to collect usage statistics. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
Statistics cookies are not set at all until you press “Accept” on the notice at the bottom of the screen. If you decline or simply do not choose, Google’s script is never loaded in the first place — not merely disabled.
You can change your mind at any time. When you withdraw consent, the site also deletes the cookies already set, rather than only stopping future collection.
Third-party services
When you use this site your browser contacts the following services. Each has its own privacy policy.
Loads and starts collecting only after you accept. If you do not, the script is never loaded at all
Hosts this site, and therefore sees incoming requests as part of normally serving it
Receives what you submit through the contact form and newsletter, and passes it to the centre
Video thumbnails load from i.ytimg.com when a page with videos opens; the player itself loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play
cuculturecom-static.vercel.app
Hosts the illustrations for the cultural communication programme. Your browser loads those images from it when you open a project page that uses them — it sees an ordinary image request, with no cookies and nothing you typed
Your rights under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act
You have the right to access the data the centre holds about you · to have it corrected · to have it erased · to restrict its use · to object to its collection and use · to receive a copy in a machine-readable form · and to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, write to comm.inno@chula.ac.th. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of collection and use that already took place beforehand.
